I generally never add reviews but this property deserved it!! It was worth the money, it very cosy and transports you to a different zone.. beware the hotel is on 2nd floor and there is no lift… location wise it’s very well located! I’d suggest staying here instead of sorrento if you wish to visit Ravello, Amalfi etc as it is very close.. only positano is slightly far .. the person at the hostel (not sure if he is the owner) is very sweet, will play the piano in the morning while we have breakfast… only that he is not very fluent in English but that didn’t really cause an issue .. I booked the hotel at the last minute after reading someone’s review and it was worth it.. also note the rooms are naturally cooler compared to the temperature outside but they have decent blankets ! Also there’s a pizza place >5min away, called Almars (something on that lines) they have such amazing pizzas!!! You need not go anywhere else.. I had the buffala margarita both nights ..

We stayed in this beautiful old palazzo—full of charm and character. Our room reflected the age of the building, with original features like a wooden basin, which was atmospheric but quite worn and in need of some maintenance. In contrast, the suite had a beautifully renovated bathroom and felt much more luxurious—I really wish we had booked that instead! One big plus: the air conditioning works extremely well, which was a real bonus in the summer heat. What truly stood out was the staff. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The place felt very safe, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. If you're booking, I highly recommend going for the suite. It’s a charming and memorable place, made even better by the wonderful team who run it.

Convenient location, comfortable room. We stayed in Room 10 – it has access to a large rooftop terrace with a beautiful view of the entire city. The terrace is equipped with a table and chairs. We expected breakfast to be served at the hotel itself, but it turned out to be held in the basement of another hotel (with the same owner), just a 3–4 minute walk away. This hotel is for those who appreciate authenticity and want to feel the charm of a bygone era and the former glory of a family’s history.

I loved the old school vibes, and the authenticity of the decor. The stuff was amazing, friendly and really helpful with everything. Breakfast had limited options but not few, and everything was fresh and delicious. I absolutely loved it. Simple and italian. The bed was big and really comfortable and the whole room was very clean. The location was perfect right in the heart of Maiori and everything was close by. I would definitely go back soon.

The property is a bridge over time, with classic murals and old furniture. The "hosts" are particularly pleasant and welcoming and make you feel, even though you are actually in a hotel, as their honored guest. Improvements or a reconstruction of the building could be made, but the historical air and even some deficiencies are the charm of today. It is not just a stay, it is an experience!
